WE'RE BACK!!!
No, you haven't made a mistake... this was the "Bite the Bullet" website!
We made a decision that was both easy and difficult at the same time. Before we were "Bite the Bullet", we were on our way to establishing a really large following from club to club as Rampage. As luck would have it, and in keeping with normal band traditions, members come and go. Such was the case with Rampage as we lost our original bass player.
And at another point, the band was pushing ahead as a three piece unit of guitar, bass and drums and also re-naming ourselves "Bite the Bullet".
Well, fasten your seatbelts because Rampage is back and we're rocking El Paso like a March windstorm. We're just as tight as ever and we're still covering the classic rock styles of Grand Funk, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple and Journey, to the new rock styling’s of Pearl Jam, Tantric, Brother Cain and Three Days Grace.

The group is comprised of four mature, professional musicians who are extremely experienced in the music styles described above, and have extensive experience playing the local club scene in many local bands. For band bio's, see "THE BAND" link above.
Our audiences range from young adults into the new styles mentioned above, to more mature people who like straight ahead classic rock ‘n roll with a jolt of new music which keeps us interesting to the younger crowd. |
As Bite the Bullet, we placed third in the 2008 “The Eagle 99.1 Battle of the bands” held at the Sunland Park Casino.
And we also placed 2nd in 2009's Fox "Battle on the Border" battle of the bands. This year, 2010, we decided not to participate in the battle of the bands and decided instead to focus and devote all of our energy into becoming the best cover band in the city of El Paso. And we have also started writing our own material!
We love to play, and our goal is to just keep playing and having fun together and entertaining people the best way we know how...by playing the music that charges them up and gets them ready to party.
